Allow us to help you commemorate your loved ones on the anniversary of their passing, (Yahrzeit). Please select one of the options to remember loved ones at B’nai Jeshurun.

Perpetual Yahrzeit – this includes a written yearly notification to the family of the date when your loved one’s name will be read before Kaddish during Erev Shabbat Services. You may designate as many family members as you wish to receive this annual reminder of the Yahrzeit. The name will also be included in the Order of Worship at Shabbat Morning Services. Additionally, the name will be listed in TBJ’s newsletter, Tidings. Perpetual Yahrzeit is available with a one-time donation of $550 per name.

Perpetual Yahrzeit Plus- this includes the Perpetual Yahrzeit and a permanent listing in our Yizkor books each Yom Kippur and Passover. This is available for a one-time donation of $1,000 per name.

Memorial Plaque- you may also choose to remember loved ones by dedicating a memorial plaque which would be affixed to our Dedication Wall in the temple lobby. A plaque at any level includes Perpetual Yahrzeit notifications as well as permanent listing in our Yizkor books for Yom Kippur and Passover. Plaques begin at $3,600. This is a beautiful, meaningful and tangible way to memorialize a loved one.
