Over the last few weeks, we have shared updates, calls for action, and opportunities to come together in community. We will continue to do everything we can to keep you informed and we want to share some of what you can expect from us moving forward:
Inspiration: Each Monday morning, please check our social media outlets for a short video to start our week with a moment of connection, music, and spirituality.
Action: On Wednesdays you will receive an action alert with a tangible way to help make an impact
Prayer: Continue joining us each Friday night as we come together as a community, praying for the safety and security of Israel, the safe return of those held hostage, and those defending our Homeland.
Learning: We will share information about programs, speakers, and classes to learn and process amidst the chaos of war in Israel and the events of antisemitism here at home.
Want to get more involved in TBJ’s Israel programming? We are rebooting our Israel Committee which will meet on Thursday, November 16th from 6:00-7:15 pm. This group will help mobilize TBJ’s passion for Israel at this crucial time—there are so many ways to help, and we welcome those who can give any amount of time or expertise. Click here to RSVP for the meeting and to indicate your working group preference.
Tuesday November 14th Americans March for Israel in Washington DC We know many of you are planning to join, and have registered to travel by bus through the Greater Metrowest Federation. If you have reserved a spot but are not unable to attend, please let us know, as there is a growing wait list.
If you are attending the march and NOT taking the bus, please email Barbara Cooke at bcooke@tbj.org with your name and phone number so we can connect with you there.
We know these continue to be difficult days, but action within our TBJ community for the larger Jewish People remains the best way we know how to persevere. Together we will continue walking forward, never losing hope.
